A Message from our C.E.O.

My arrival in 2004 marked the beginning of an exciting journey here at TRDA. Since then we have grown and undertaken many new challenges, while establishing and re-defining our presence not only within San Diego’s thriving wireless community, but within the Taiyo Yuden Group as well.

Our mission now, much as it has been, is to provide world class R&D in regards to wireless technologies and developments on behalf of our parent company, Taiyo Yuden, and all of our technology partners. To do so, we’ve put together an outstanding team with the technical expertise and foresight to realize our vision of a better tomorrow.

To be sure, the past year has seen a number of milestones within the wireless and handset industry, such as the ongoing development of UWB, SDR and WiMAX. What lies ahead? What challenges will we face? Nobody can say for sure, but I am confident that whatever the future holds, TRDA and Taiyo Yuden will be there unlocking the promise for all of us to share.

TRDA Inc. is proud to be a member of the Taiyo Yuden Group, a global conglomeration of companies and manufacturing facilities all headed by our parent company, Taiyo Yuden Co. Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
