TRDA is looking for a Baseband Hardware Architect to serve as the hands-on technical lead (not management). Candidates should have superior technical skills, hands-on hardware design experience* and leadership ability in the area of next generation wireless communication technologies and software-defined radio. Must have a strong background in designing digital circuits for communication algorithms and be able to take the technical lead in system integration. Well versed in HDL (Hardware Design Language) and processes, such as VHDL, Verilog, System-C, etc., targeting FPGA/ASIC. Should have a broad understanding of baseband architecture strongly emphasizing the hardware side, while being able to support baseband system engineering in developing fixed-point system designs. Excellent communication skills are a must, as is the ability to manage and move projects forward while maximizing available resources.

* Please Note: Applicants having only experience in system simulation or circuit board design do not have the necessary breadth of skills/experience this position requires and will be excluded from consideration.

Education and Experience: Minimum MSEE with 6-10 years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with BSEE degree may be considered.
